bit confused about security plugins. if i'm building a site on wordpress in a local environment, and exporting it to github to get hosted by netlify, i would just need to setup 2 factor authentication on those two sites right? i currently dont have a password for the local wordpress site. would that matter when i export it?

bluehost is trying to scam me into sitelock because suddenly there’s malware in my account, all my domains, all my emails, are down.. they want $395 to remove the 100 malware files.. trying to keep a support chat agent without dropping is insanely difficult. i’ve been a customer for 15 years, their support used to be stellar, it’s night and day different for the worse. this isn’t the same company i started with, its now a scamming unsupportive monster.

IMPORTANT! This is missing a step for moving your domain to the porkbun nameservers before the registrar transfer. If you are doing this you will need to toggle "Enable DNS" after the verification step. This is explained in the documentation if you look up "How to add your external domain to your Porkbun account". If you skip this step you'll have an outage once the nameserver changes propagate. I lost email for about 24hrs before I noticed this issue and was able to troubleshoot it.

so you're less distracted by a bigger uglier tab bar than the slick and easy accessible one on the top from other browsers? Really? I hate sidebars on browsers. Does anyone truly believe, that every single other browser developer hasn't tested a sidebar already but then chose to go with the horizontal tabbar because it's simply better in every way?

Both do not have proper desktop application. By "proper" I mean native, not a bloated Web/Electron one. AppFlowy is an example of cross-platform desktop/mobile app in Dart+Rust.

OMG I was looking for people talking about this . GODADDY is a scam and I dont understand. For example the domain names are taken by GODADDY. It seems they predict possible names that will be used. 70 of names I tries were already taken and it was available by godaddy. DOMAINR showed that many of these websites were registered by GODADDY. I tried a website name for 2 days it was available and then i took sometime to go through variations for what I want. by day 2 the website name was no longer available and i could buy it on GODADDY.

4:50 often the problem when some things don't render, or can't be clicked, is not because the engine, buit because firefox's agressive tracking blocking, you can turn that off on a per site bases, thi shield icon before the adress bar.

I use Opera and since the Opera One update I think this is clearly the best browser, at least for me, and I've tried almost everything. For me Opera has been rock solid with no glitches whatsoever, but the fact that I use a great Manjaro Linux Distro with XFCE, instead of the heavy and resource intensive Windows may have something to do with it. The picture on other websites is fantastic, and there's no browser extension for other browsers that works nearly as good - I tried. Give Opera a try with an open mind, and you may be surprised.

Using arc for mac and iphone last 7 months as master student in UX it is making so much sense and it is amazing and it works however I can’t see a point for a average user why they should use something else rather than chrome or safari
